Olmsted Cultural Immersion Program (OCIP)

The Olmsted Cultural Immersion Program (OCIP) is a two-week program managed by the U.S. Air Force Academy in which Air Force ROTC cadets travel with USAFAUSAFAUnited States Air Force Academy cadets to a non-English speaking country and are exposed to foreign cultures and languages.

CadetsCadetsMembers of the student population of AFROTC may also have the opportunity to:

  • Attend foreign conferences, seminars or briefings
  • Visit foreign military academies
  • Work on research projects
  • Participate in educational tours

Previously cadets in this program have traveled to the Balkans, Brazil, China/Japan, Ethiopia/Rwanda, Thailand and Vietnam/Cambodia.
